1. Who We Are

SellMyCards is an online marketplace that connects buyers, sellers, and traders of sports and hobby trading cards. We provide the technology that lists cards, processes payments, tracks shipments, and facilitates communication between users. We are not a party to the actual sale of any card — that transaction is between the buyer and the seller.

2. Accounts & Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account, listing a card, or completing a purchase.

We may suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms, engages in fraudulent activity, or repeatedly fails to meet seller shipping obligations described below.

3. Seller Subscriptions

Selling or trading on the Platform requires an active subscription. The Sell & Trade plan ($25/month or $199/year) permits unlimited listings for sale and access to the trade section. The Trade Only plan ($10/month) permits listing cards for trade only and does not include the ability to sell cards for payment.

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your Seller Dashboard; your access continues through the end of the current billing period, and no partial refunds are issued for the remaining time in a billing cycle.

4. Buying, Selling & Payment

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. When you buy a card, your payment — including the card price, any shipping charge, and a processing fee that covers payment processing and marketplace costs — is charged at checkout and held securely until your purchase is confirmed delivered. Sellers do not receive payment at the moment of sale; funds are released according to the Buyer Protection Window described in our Refund & Buyer Protection Policy.

Sellers are expected to ship sold cards within 3 business days of a confirmed sale and to provide accurate condition, authenticity, and description information for every listing. Misrepresenting a card's condition or authenticity is a violation of these Terms.

5. Trading

The trade section allows users to propose peer-to-peer card swaps with no marketplace fee. Trades are arranged directly between the participating users, including shipping arrangements — the Platform facilitates the listing and messaging, but is not a party to the trade itself and does not process payment or hold escrow for trades.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• List counterfeit, stolen, or misrepresented cards
• Attempt to circumvent the Platform's payment or escrow system for a sale conducted through the Platform
• Harass, defraud, or mislead another user
• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose

7. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided "as is." We do not guarantee the accuracy of any listing, the conduct of any user, or the condition of any card upon delivery beyond the protections described in our Refund & Buyer Protection Policy. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SellMyCards is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
